Subway's Sub of the Day at just 69 Baht!

Popular American sandwich chain Subway has been quietly making inroads into Bangkok's fast-food arena through their growing network of outlets all over the city. Their regular submarine sandwiches are priced between THB 89-129, but the bestsellers are undoubtedly their day specials or Sub Of The Day, where the special sandwich of the day is priced at just 69 Baht, and a footlong for 138 Baht. Their specials for each day of the week are:

Monday - Chicken Teriyaki
Tuesday - Sliced Chicken Chilli
Wednesday - Tuna
Thursday - Sliced Chicken & Ham
Friday - Chicken Breast
Saturday - BLT or Bacon Lettuce Tomato
Sunday - Sliced Chicken

For those uninitiated into the Subway culture, there is a variety of gourmet breads to choose from for your sandwich, such as Italian bread, Wheat bread, Honey Oat bread and Parmesan Oregano bread.  For dressing, there are choices of BBQ, Chili, Caesar, Honey Mustard, Sweet Onion, Chipotle Southwest, and many more.   While vegees are optional and free, other extras like cheese and crispy bacon would cost more.  For optimum taste, you can have your sandwich toasted.  Other than sandwiches, there are also wraps, salads and even chocolate-chip cookies.
